CSULB and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

I think I previously posted on the wrong board..so lets try this again.

Im a community college student in Santa Monica (Southern California) with plans to major in Marketing. I have been professionally modeling the entire time ive been in CC (4 years now, dont laugh!) so I've been fortunate enough to network with plenty of professionals in the marketing world.

By the end of this fall my GPA will be 3.25, and by the time Im completely done with my prerequisites at the community college, it will hopefully be around 3.4.
Ive got some of my community service down (With a German Shepherd Rescue in downtown) but am also going to become an ambassador for Heal The Bay this summer. I never thought anything of my modeling, but after reading about EC's on the forums, I realized it was relevant. (Its a full time job, I've already got my foot in the industry, and my clients have ranged from Levis to Skechers, to Lucky Jeans to Cosmopolitan)

CSULB is super impacted and Cal Poly is incredibly competitive. What I was startled by with Cal Poly, however, was how many students with incredible GPA's were getting waitlisted, while students in the low 3.0's were getting in!

What do you think my chances are of getting into CSULB or Cal Poly, and do Cal States look at community service and grade improvement as much as UC's? (my grades were low when I began school, and are now close to straight A's).
