Hey,
I plan to go to CSULB/CSUN, I'm an international student.
I'll be taking the SATs this saturday.
I tested myself, and I got about 700 on math, but critical reading , I got about 400 (worst case scenario)

GPA : 3.5, and this year it will be 3.6 (UW)
so with 1100-1200/1600 SAT, Do you think I'll have a chance at CSULB?

People say it's a lot harder to enter as an international student, Internationals pay 17k-18k/year, so I don't think it's a lot harder I think.

Do you think I'll have a chance? THANKS

3.5 and 1150 should be good enough to get you in either.

Tuition will be around $18k, on campus room and board is $11k to $12k. Books, transportation, healthcare, etc are on top of that.

Hi! I am actually from the LA area and live about 15 minutes from CSULB. CSUN is fairly easy to get into, with your stats I’m almost sure they’ll accept you! CSULB on the other hand is known for being one of the most competitive in the CSU system. To answer your question, yes I do think you have a chance and you should definitely apply!

CSUN is probably a definite. It’s a nice campus, I was there the other week.

CSULB is more competitive, but I think you’ve probably got a good shot at getting in. Wish you luck!

Quite ironically, those were the exact same CSUs I applied to (although I applied to some UCs as well).

Thanks! SAts are tomorrow hopefully I get in there! should get 1.2k+ most likely.
