CSULB Vs. CSUDH transfer for Supply Chain Management

I was excepted to CSUF csulb and csudh. Current only looking at lb and dh. My major is operations/logistics supply chain management under business administration. My first choice is LB but I absolutely dread math. If I attend lb I would have to take business calculus and business stats, at DH I wouldn’t. DH is seen as a university with a not so much active campus, compared to LB. is there a starting salary difference between these schools and will someone hire a lb alumni vs an dh alumni? Any advice will help, thanks

My $.02: take DH off the table and go with either LB or CSUF. I don’t believe the business program at DH has an AACSB accreditation (hence the easier math?). I think those other two schools have a better reputation with employers.

If you are still considering DH, be sure to get an understanding of the employment outcomes of their recent supply chain grads. If they’re getting hired left and right, then perhaps DH turns out to be a fine choice.

I’ve tried to look that up. Any tips on how to receive more information on Supply Chain grads from DH and LB? Thank you.

My sense is the starting pay won’t vary much in aggregate. At the individual level, having relevant work experience while you earn your degree will certainly boost your appeal to employers - no matter which campus you choose. You might try looking for alumni on LinkedIn for a sense of where grads from each school wind up.

An aside, those math classes are there for a reason. It would be a good idea to take them which ever campus you choose.

Since LB and Fullerton are so much bigger, there will be a broader variety of clubs/activities and associated leadership opportunities than you are likely to find at DH. That said, if you find DH a more comfortable environment after visiting all 3, by all means, head that way.

Thanks for that. I really appreciate it.
