CSULB vs SJSU for Business(Finance)

I was accepted into CSULB and SJSU for Finance and am trying to decide between them. I believe I’d be fine living in either the Bay or SoCal but I want to go to the better program which is going to give me better job opportunities. I think it may cost more to attend SJSU just because housing would cost more, but SJSU would bring opportunities to work in Tech Finance in Silicon Valley which could be interesting. I know CSULB is likely thought to be a better business program but I’m looking for opinions on which program is better with more opportunities.

Both are good and will probably offer very similar experience and opportunity. If you know you’d like to live near one or the other after school, that might tip the scales because a local internship is a great way to open the door for your first career gig. That said, i know a recent LB grad who had little trouble finding a finance job at a huge tech firm a stone’s throw from SJSU Spend time on both campuses, talk to some existing students, sit in on a class or two. One will feel more like home that the other… that’s the one.

Congrats and good luck.
