Csulb...

i know CSULB is one of the more selective CSU's..i was on their transfer admissions site and i saw this...does it mean if an applicant meets their requirements that they will just be considered for admission? not guaranteed to be accepted?

Applicants, who have completed the four core GE requirements by the end of Spring 2006 and will have met all minimum CSU eligibility criteria by the end of Summer 2006, will be offered admission to the University. The four core GE requirements are GE English, Critical Thinking, Oral Communication and Mathematics and must be completed with a grade of C or better.

I don't know anything about CSULB, but it seems that you only become 'eligible' if you completed the core requirements, so people who scored below a C on those requirements CAN'T get it. Although you are eligible, this doesn't mean guranteed admission though.

Is it true that LB only admits transfers now?

Yes it is what it says.... If you meet all the criteria listed above you will be offered admission....

Its just like UCSC last year how they offered admission to all applicants with a 2.4 and 60 units completed/igetc...
