CU Boulder Presidential Scholarship

I want to go to CU Boulder next year but my parents said they wouldn’t pay for it unless I got the presidential scholarship. I have a 4.4 weighted GPA and a 34 ACT. What are the chances I will get the scholarship?

1-3% of out of state students win a Presidential:

Apply for the Norlin Scholarship as well. This is open to in state and out of state students:

Some students win both the Presidential and the Norlin scholarship, as I understand it.
Hone interviewing and writing skills. I think that the big factor is your extra curricular activity depth, writing ability
and interview ability and not your test scores. Everyone applying has the same GPA and test scores you have, so the differentiator is your leadership extra curricular activities, or academic extra curricular activity depth.
