Can anyone tell me what the culture at Colgate's like? As in like the environment and the place?

Hi! I’m a current junior at Colgate and I love it! It’s really secluded up there (there is literally a dairy farm right next to campus). Since there isn’t much to do in nearby towns (Syracuse is about an hour away), Colgate’s got a cool social scene. Frats are big, but they’re pretty strict about who can get in. For the most part, the only guys who go to frat parties are affiliated with the frat. Girls can get in pretty much wherever they want. Downtown, there are a few bars, like the Glass, that are more popular with upperclassmen. The Jug is really popular. It is a bar with a dance floor and anyone 18 years old or older can get in.
There are other things going on for people who don’t like the “party” scene. The Activities Board does free midnight movie premieres of really popular movies. There are bonfires and trivia nights, and clubs and activities for everyone. Plus, all students are allowed to have cars on campus. It’s great when you want half-apps at Applebees or something like that.
Oh, cool! I have applied to Colgate and now lets see if I’ll get in! Thanks for the inputs though
