Hey guys,

I was a student at a 30 rank private college during my freshman and sophomore years, major in Financial Economics (honor) and mathematics (honor). I had a cumulative GPA of 3.89, with major GPA 4.0/4.0 and 3.9/4.0 respectively. We didn't have A+ grade.

I then transferred to a top 20 college as a junior, major in economics (honor) and statistics. I just finished my first semester and found that my GPA is ruined by a non-major Computer Science Course (have no idea why I chose to take it. LoL). My cumulative for first semester would be around 3.77, with major gpas still around 3.9/4.0. If my previous semester GPAs are considered, this will give my a cumulative GPA 3.86/4.0 with 100 credits.

I overloaded many major graduate level courses, especially statistics, most of my classmates are now graduate students and PHDs. I'm currently learning all kinds of stochastic models and simulations, which're usually courses of graduate students.

I'm also anticipating an ASA (associate of actuarial science) designation and CFA level 1 before graduation.

How should this affect my chance of getting into a top 10 colleges's Financial Engineering or Statistics Program?
