what is your GPA, guys. that’s so weird so many people got rejected.
my gpa was 3.9 weighted and my sat scores were 1240 (out of 1600)
I got waitlisted from hunter and rejected from Baruch. Still waiting on queens. Gpa:3.7 sat: 1150

What the hell is this. I just got rejected from baruch and got waitlisted for hunter. Seriously what is going on??
people with lower stats than me got accepted and i waited for 4 long months to just hear this from my top choice colleges. Idk what I’m gonna do now
seriously why did this just happen??? Man CUNY got one of the worst admissions system I have ever seen. MY cousin had a lower sat score and gpa than me and got accepted whereas i just got rejected. wanna kill myself now 
That’s so weird that people with high scores are waitlisted and people with low scores are accepted. I have a 3.8 gap weighted scale and 1240 sat score (out of 1600)

I know a lot of people who have lower stats than me and take lesser APs than me that got into Hunter. This is ridiculous. I even took College Now classes at Hunter…I’m even not sure about where I’m going to college at this point because of this waitlist and waiting for Queens to send a decision. I’m trying to be positive about this but I feel hopeless
Hey i heard back from baruch and got rejected
i go to a top hs and have a 85-87 ish gpa and 1250 on sat
ik people who got a 70 gpa and scored slightly higher on the sat who got in
i am extremely upset and am still waiting for queens
As I have said before, the staff who made these decisions are either stupid or they dont know how to review applications.
At this point, I do not know where I am going for college, I guess I am just gonna take a gap year now??? lol
my sunys are too expensive for me and my other two cuny options left are hunter and john jay
im 90% sure im going to hunter but i have no idea what to major in, especially due to the fact that their nursing program is literally the most competitive thing in the school
Hey man don’t stress too much. although our situations arent the same just know that this isn’t the end of the world. I’m sure you’re incredibly gifted and intellectual so pick what you feel is right. Just push yourself to the fullest in freshman year so you can transfer into Baruch 
It’s easier said than done but the hard work will pay off and I hope the news from Baruch only push you to strive to be the best you can be for the rest of your education life.
By the way guys the thing that I don’t get is that why did Hunter College send me a financial aid package before putting me on waitlist?
@munluv5 thanks mayne but u know i really wanted to get into the business field since my freshmen year and all i focused on doing was majoring in finance until today when baruch ruined all my dreams

Note it says 2017-2018 year for which i applied and have been waitlisted for it now lmao
and also if this is the matter then I’m probably gonna waste $250 on submitting a deposit for george mason and probably where I’m gonna go if i dont get into hunter now. SO i gotta do a double deposit now lol which is actually not allowed
