Curious HS Sophomore.. how am I doing?

I'm a hispanic of Jewish religion in high school and I'm not sure if I'm on track (10th grade going on 11th, probably still have a lot of time, but I'm not sure).

I get usually A's and B's, I'm guessing 3.75 gpa average, I have a 4.0 right now. I've taken 1 AP This year (Art history, got an A and my 1 year in fine art credit), 2 engineering courses, H Pre Cal, H English, Chemistry, H Spanish Speakers 2, Cross Country and Track. I've completed around 25 hours or so of community service (I only got 10 signed off and I lost track of time.. my loss and fault, I plan on doing a lot of hours this summer at a library most likely). I got first place regionals in an engineering design contest (won an iPad from that) and made state this year, and participated in an after school architecture mentoring program (plan to continue through the end of high school)

Next year I plan taking 3 APs (Calculus, English Language, Spanish Language), Honors Physics, Honors US History, Cross Country and Track (I had to drop Digital Engineering for AP Spanish Language, otherwise should I have dropped Track instead?).

And senior year I plan on AP Physics, any other APs undecided

I really want to do design roller coasters and some architecture as a career, probably Walt Disney Imagineering, so I'm aiming at Cornell, USC, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Lehigh for Architecture and Structural Engineering/Civil Engineering. I'm involved in a lot of CAD and computer design and have been for a couple years now (experience with google sketchup and autodesk inventor), so I'm not sure how my work and portfolio of my CAD work will reflect toward colleges.

I still have yet to take the SAT I/II, maybe ACT, and other stuff.

I'm just curious as to how I am doing so far and if I continue at what I'm doing I have a chance in getting in those colleges, or what I would have to do to get a better chance in getting in. I'm starting researching colleges and probably visiting Cornell sometime next month.

Help is greatly appreciated, thank you :)

Anyone? Sorry for the double post.

so nobody?

Hi! Well, I don’t know much about the specifics of those schools because I don’t have those kinds of grades but I think you’re definitely looking great for a sophomore. Having community service early looks good because I think I lot of people wait until junior and senior year to do theirs and then it looks like their just cramming it in the end just for college. The engineering design contest thing is good too. I would recommend getting involved in some clubs at schools and seeking leadership positions, that always looks great.
Good Luck!

Thanks, I’ll be sure to do that
