o.umm nvm. i found my answers on the housing website.

What are the dimensions for Sunset Village plaza dorms? I think this has been asked before..

thanks ucapplicant05.

and i totally didn't know about the 1.65...how conveniently do they leave that information out on their webpage

anyone know if its possible to become an ra junior year after living off campus sophmore year?

Jasonx88,

It's possible, sure. It's extremely unlikely, however. Becoming an RA involves tons of involvement in housing, tons of butt-kissing, and tons of ladder climbing.

okay so to be an RA you have to be involved in your community from day on, make friends with current RAs, and fill smaller positions (i.e. event planner) when they are needed?

Pretty much. My roommate my last year of college wanted to be an RA but got passed over for a mere sycophant.

ORL is like that.

that's how life/or at least life in LA works. thanks for the tip. will do.

namaste,

You think that it's limited to LA?

Poor thing. Poor poor thing.

funny....yet depressing

Yeah, that's really a "that's just life" kind of thing.

I've lived in the following cities for some length of time:

Los Angeles
Tokyo
Tsukuba
Fu.kuoka (the language filter on this site is incredibly stupid)
New York
Washington, DC
San Francisco

And you know what? Despite the linguistic differences in some (New York, especially :p), people are all the same butt-kissing, compliment fishing whores everywhere.

haha..that would suck for someone who worked their butt off to become an ra only to be passed by for a sycophant.

delete the "for"

of course I don't think that, Ari. Human nature is the same wherever.

Good. I was a little worried. :p

except in the SF valley it's even more intensely competitive

... huh? As a Valley native I'm a bit confused.

that's the stereotype for people there

I don't find people in the Valley to be any more sycophantic than those in LA proper, really. And I've lived outside of the Valley long enough to recognize many of the flaws of the area.
