Do you have to send a copy of the course info for every class you have taken?
And also, is this submitted before or after your acceptance

bump…

I have not heard of a school that does not require this. You must submit it before the transfer application deadline.

Most people email in the info or scan/copy/fax it in.

depends what college u r applying for.

Yes. I have seen very few schools that ask for detailed course descriptions at the application level. So it must depend on which schools you’re applying to, since Kulakai seems to have had the completely opposite experience.

Just follow whatever directions your particular school(s) require. Some before acceptance, some after. Until I read Kulakai’s post, I believed that only about 1 in 10 asked for the detailed info before. Certainly, I believe, they all ask you to list course titles and course numbers of what you are taking.

But some want catalog course descriptions for all you have taken - usually after acceptance so they can decide which and how many credits will transfer.

I thought that the course descriptions were used before acceptance so that they can tell how many more courses you need to graduate. Like a b-school wont want to accept you if you havent taken any finance courses for example. So doesnt the “how many credits will transfer” factor into acceptance decisions rather than just administrative purposes following acceptance?

For admissions decisions, they usually just go by the course titles. They don’t usually want to look at detailed course descriptions.
