thank you !

Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing.

Not as easy as everyone says, though.

Hi
I applied and I checked bronco direct and it says that I was complete with application but few weeks later it went back to incomplete because I have to take the placement test. Does it mean that I cannot get acceptance or denied letter till I take the test ? But than the due date for the placement test is may 4 ( i think)

@Lucccky No, my account also said ‘incomplete’ and that I had to take the placement test and then all the sudden it changed to ''provisional admit".

To those Pomona attendees out there, what is one thing that you really like about Cal Poly Pomona in comparison to what other say and one thing that really needs to change at Cal Poly Pomona?

Pros:

-Learn by doing philosophy. Almost all majors subscribe to it and it is clearly visible in all the interesting labs around campus, especially in engineering, architecture, and the collins college. Did you know students actually run a 4 star restaurant and hotel on campus?
-School is known by recruiters and graduates are well sought after for their readiness to enter the workforce.
-beautiful campus, horses, gardens, ponds, hikes, hills, vistas.
-food is OK.
-Residential Suites.
-diversity

Cons:

-School spirit mainly due to lack of division 1 athletics, though the basketball team has done well in division 2 and games are sometimes well attended.
-Social life. The residential suites have added a lot of life to campus and it’s one of the largest communities in the CSU after CP SLO, but more can be done.
-Neighborhood. It’s in a quiet part of town and close to Diamond Bar and Walnut, but the school needs more commercial activity immediately adjacent and walking distance to campus. You currently have to drive to do anything. I hope things change in this regard as well.

What I really like about Pomona is how hands on the school is- We get really indepth in business, same with engineering and hospitality majors even get to run a four star restaurant on campus.

What I dont like is how dead the campus is on weekends (real commuter school, I stay here most of the time because I live an hour and a half away. There isnt much to do around pomona either
