Current ND students, convince me!

I was accepted to the Boston College Honors Program with less financial aid than ND, and I was also accepted at ND. Why should I choose ND over BC? Convince me! : )

Because money talks.

Since I've never been to Boston College I can't really compare. I can say that a friend who attends BC came to visit she was impressed with the campus and the dining hall.

I would think that more Notre Dame probably offers more academic opportunities given the smaller student body and higher endowment. It also depends on what you want to do. Notre Dame sends more students to graduate school and service programs. If you are in Boston College A&S Honors it sounds like the same thing as Notre Dame's PLS.

I was under the impression that Notre Dame WAS BC's honor program.

BC = Backup College

you guys are real classy, I think the poster was looking for something more substantive than insults at Boston College.

For example, Notre Dame's student newspaper publishes five days a week instead of two like BC. If that's worth anything.

I'd say the biggest difference between the two would have to be location. If you like access to a city then BC is the way to go. On every other point I think ND wins out - except, damn, it's hard to get to.

Were you accepted to A&S Honors or CSOM Honors??

A&S. But just for the record, I already withdrew all my other applications and enrolled at ND, haha.

Glad to hear you are Notre Dame bound. I just got back from a conference in Boston and while it was nice I am still very glad that I am a ND graduate. I wore ND stuff the whole time as well :).

Good choice! Go Irish! You will LOVE it! :)
