ND or BC

Hi everyone, I was accepted to both BC Honors and ND... I love both colleges and am very unsure of what to do. I LOVE Boston and think that that campus is great, but realize that Notre Dame is ranked higher and seems to be more well-known throughout the country. If you have an opinion either way, please let me know! I dont want to make the wrong decision!!

Depends on your financial aid package. Notre Dame is a little better known but Boston College is a great school too. Boston is far better to live in than South Bend but Notre Dame has more histroy behind it. I think both are equally competetive. I know people at notre dame who were rejected by boston college. You cant make a wrong choice here in my opinion

Here’s to hoping I get rejected from ND so my decision is that much easier.

But for you, it depends on what you are looking for. My hesitations for Notre Dame are the weather, location, and lack of hot chicks. I can deal with the first two though.

chillyconcarney, please pick BC

LOL, CuriousMom. Must have been admitted as a URM. The guys I know at ND are very nice, smart, fun, and work very hard to be successful in their classes. There are a few exceptions, of course, so we believe they were admitted to make the others look even better. They are, thankfully, an Under-Represented Minority (or the token Utterly Replusive Males, as we call them - they get identified pretty fast and word gets around.)
And, no, this doesn’t mean we don’t have great senses of humor. We just appreciate quality, and ND is just overflowing with it!
By the way, all of the dorms’ residents have nicknames. One dorm houses the Wild Women, another the Pyros, and one even has the Chicks. Just what chillyconcarney is looking for!

CuriousMom - a classic smackdown!
