I just got admitted to SDSU for fall 2016 as a transfer student. I want to live off campus, but still close to the school. What are some nice neighborhoods or apartment complexes I should look into?’
Please be specific about the area (is it a party block, quiet, expensive, etc.)

just out of curiosity, why do you want to live of campus?
living in the dorms is one of the main ways to make friends, get advice, and helps you with the first year of college.
@sdsugirl22 I’m a transfer student. I already lived in the dorms my first year of college and I prefer living off campus!
If you want nice, you will be paying expensive rates. If you want cheap, you’ll be living outside of San Diego County. San Diego has atrocious rents. Are you sure you want to live off campus?
Del Cerro=nice, quiet and very expensive
La Mesa=nice, quiet and expensive with a little bit of a commute.
El Cajon=cheaper for a reason: hot in the summer, cold in the winter and you must have a car.
