I applied as a PR and AD major. Just wondering if the faculty and this program is good in Chapman? I did my research and it usually sings praises to the film school. However, seeing the PR and AD major is part of Dodge College, it should be pretty good innit?

tiopango: As for PR and AD I don’t know that much about it but in a recent article I read the ratings for schools in that program goes USC #1, Chapman #2 and NYU #3. But as for the national competition Chapman has come in 1st for last two years and USC 2nd.

I dunno if this thread is still alive, but…
Does chapman offer a film production major WITH an emphasis on editing?
And how is the general editing in the courses?

I love editing…

I was wondering how the TV program is like at Dodge? I’m deciding to either take digital arts or television.

manguy – my S is finishing his freshman year at Chapman, in Dodge TV/Broadcasting. He is also taking an acting class right now, so those can be taken by non-theater majors.

I’d like to clarify that ONLY TH110 (Intro to Acting) is available for non-majors. The rest require one to be in either the BA Theatre or BFA Theatre Performance/BFA Screen Acting tracks.
