<p>For a new freshman entering Madison for Summer 2009, looking for recommendations on two courses to take in summer school, given it is only an 8 week session (i.e. taking calculus for the first time would not be a good idea). Intended major is business, thus English, Comm Arts, Psych, Econ are required within the first 24 credits in residence before applying to business school, so would 2 of these be reasonable choices for summer school as far as difficulty of material for someone new to UW and new to college in general? Any Professor recommendations?</p>
