Current year courses for gap year student?

Hi all,

I'm having some trouble figuring the Common Application. I just graduated from high school and I'm currently working to save up for some travelling. The Common App wants me to list my current year courses and it doesn't allow me to skip this step. The support team at Common App wants me to check the box "did/will take time off ", but this box specifically refers to interruptions in my secondary education and you must upload a document explaining why you took time off.

I don't want it to look like I took time off from my secondary education, when I completed it on time and with good grades. How can I get around the "current year courses" without saying I took time off from high school?

I am pretty much in the same situation. I think we have to list the courses from the last school year, and maybe explain in additional info section that we are taking a gap year. Don't worry, they can't suspect you for interrupting school, since the school will send a transcript with all your grades anyway.
