Currently failing my summer class? Should I drop? :/

i currently have a 62% (D) for trig/pre-calc....... the first week was easy but i got a 0 on the graphing section due to not having enough time to finish it.... even if i do manage to get a C+ for that class, the teacher, who is also the AP calc teacher, does not recommend students to take AP Calc if they get a C. ... The only reason why i signed up for this class was to take AP calc for my junior year... .:///// sigh

note: i have 4 weeks left...

should i just drop and take trig for my junior year???? i'll feel like an idiot :// because most juniors are in calc ab or bc

I advise you to keep trying, but you should take a different approach to things. If you are having trouble with timing, then you should time yourself at home while doing certain assignments. In all, don’t give up because you have a chance of reaching your goal and quitting gives you a 0 chance.
