Curse You Johns Hopkins!

How does that work?

Can they do that?

No, I'm lying about getting a scholarship. Of course I got one (The Hodson Trust Scholarship) and it's a really good offer that only goes out to 18 people (I have no idea why I got it), $21k a year plus some privileges and prestige. The title of the post is such because Brown was my original first choice and this offer makes my decision much harder. Now, whichever school I choose, I will feel as though I have passed something up.

if "can they do that" refers to me, then yes,(while I would like to think all colleges must accept me) colleges have the right to change a decision up until they send out the letter.

how do you know they changed it?

Honestly, Brown is all around amazing. I'm hoping to get in ED next year. I have never heard of anybody who hasn't loved it and it is so beautiful and has the New England feel.

P.S. Keane, where in Westchester are you from? I go to Edgemont!

guidance counselor

Ooh, Edgemont, aren't you cool you "number one school in Westchester County according to Westchester Magazine". Just kidding, though my school was ranked number 26 kind of unfairly. I go to Somers. Good luck getting into Brown and may your second choice not tempt you with money, prestige and promises of everything else short of oral pleasure to make you go there instead
