CURSING in my essay

I'm writing about my experience fighting a disease. It really messed up my face for the time when I had it.

And considering I was a teenager, yes, it was the fu**ing most important thing in high school.

...without the asterisks, the actual word.

What do you think?

yeahh that was a quote from my essay:

“And considering I was a teenager, yes, it was the fu**ing most important thing in high school.”

Omit it, it has no place in a college essay. I don’t even see the point of stylistically having it in there - most important is sufficient to communicate your point

for every one person that reads your essay and gives you credit for “taking a chance” you will have at least 10 other readers that find it either offensive or inappropriate.

“Be profound not profane”.

yeah i get what you’re saying. thankss, really. :]]
