Curve in AP Chemistry

"well even if that is not ivy level, that is certainly a good school"

Hmm...several of my mom's students have taken the class and failed...5 times or so...
"I can't do 4^(1/2) without my calculator!"
"How do I integrate x^(-2)?"
"What's the formula for the volume of a cylinder?"
"I attended every class, so why didn't I pass?"
That's from her calculus classes...

My dad is a full-time professor there, so I would get a half tuition break. (With California's school budget thing in its current condition, that's about as much as you can expect :p) Anyhow, I applied and got Presidential Scholars, which is full tuition, so...

But I'm going elsewhere come fall...

Yeah, I received something from umass amherst about an opportunity to go to college for free. I mean, absolutely free. The state covers tuition, books, housing, and other costs. The state would even pay me a 2000 stipend for miscellanious expenses. Its actually a neat idea, to actually pay one to go to college...Then again one would have to settle for zoo-mass amherst and lose intellectual sobriety.

Its a shame that California's school budget is dying. Maybe AAAnold will terminate public education like Romney is currently doing in Massachusetts.

PS: 4^(1/2) without a calculator? Please instruct your mom to hit that person...The job outlook for village idiots is not very good nowadays.

4^(.5)? no calculator? thats too hardcore for me!!! =P lol.

wow i hope that person is a liberal arts major. If that person was a math major i just will refrain from any comments lol

If a math major were only taking Calc I or Calc II freshman year, they should drop out of college just for that.

I think they were life science majors...some were engineering majors...
