AP Chem Curve

What is the apprx. curve for the AP Chemistry Exam???

What percent is 5, and 4??

5 about 60%

it better be 45% this year.

what is the typically 4 percentage??

is it usually 60 percent overall?

"it better be 45% this year."

Amen.

So you only have to get like 60% to get a 5? That's really pretty good, really.

Can someone throw me a bone here? What if I got say a raw score of 35 on MC and three-quarters of the free response correct?

does anyone have an past released tests??
What is a 4??
50%???

Maybe lower?

nah.. 50% probably..

Yeah, you're probably right. W/e. Last standardized test of my high school career. I AM DONE!

Yes...If all goes to plan I will have a 41% on the exam. Hopefully this correlates to a 3-4

On average in the past a 50% is a 4 and 60% is a 5, but if the test was as hard as everyone seems to be saying I bet the curve is lowered 10pts.
I don't take the exam until the 20th so I hope they do lower the curve...

um... i thought most ppl think itz easy. somehow i get a feeling that every year ppl say itz hard and the curve should be easy lol

According to the 2002 test to get a 5 you needed a raw score of 107 out of 160 and an 85 to get a 4. That practice test reassured me (I got a 126 comfortably in the 5 range), so I hope that proves to be accurate.

the 2002 is possibly the easiest i've ever seen. (the multiple choice at least)

I thought all you needed was a 100 composite score about for a 5. Since the 2002 was so easy, the curve wasn't as much, so you needed a 107 for a 5.

Any thoughts on what the raw score needed for a 5 will be on this test- 105? 103?

Anybody?

this year's multiple choice, if i may say, is much harder than expected

it should be like 95 or something. damn...this year's MC was way harder

only the first few were hard the rest were easy. It seemed to me they got easier as the test progressed.
