Best of luck at USMA. It is an absolutely beautiful campus in the fall.....BUT the long, cold grey winter and the nonexistent spring make for some very long days at the Point. I know, I lived in the area for about 10 years. When my son was considering both places, numerous cadets told him without reservation that if they could do it over again, they would choose USNA. Mainly they said that their four years would have been so much more enjoyable as you cannot compare Highland Falls with Annapolis. They also felt that there were many more career choices upon graduation. But, if the gift shop and dry streets are important, by all means choose the Point. BTW, did you happen to see pictures of the WP after they received 8 inches of rain yesterday??????

Congratulations and good luck in the future. You know what is best for you. I am sure it was a hard decision, you have made it and are obviously at peace with it. Enjoy the spring, the end of high school and good luck at R Day.
