D+ In AP Calculus BC

My grades looked like this first semester of Junior Year.
Physics B+
AP Chem C-
Honors English (Aka English 3) B+
Language A-
Fine Art A
AP Calc BC D+

2nd Semester was all A’s.
I also got a B+ in both semesters of my sophomore year in Honors Chemistry, and a C both semesters in Honors Precalculus. What will that D+ do to my chances at UC’s like Berkeley and Davis? I’m honestly really scared atm. I’m actively involved in a sport, and I manage my own club as well. Any advice on how my future looks right now? I’m in a panic.

More Info: SAT 2380, ACT 35, 800 in Math 2, Chem, Bio.

Okay, so here’s what I think. D’s honestly don’t look good in any class, whether it’s AP, honors, regular, whatever. However, you have very good test scores, especially that SAT. What is your GPA? Do you have any other E.Cs besides that club and a sport? If you don’t, I would also suggest doing some volunteer work and getting involve with more things. UC Berkeley is going to be tougher than Davis. Just keep in mind you’re competing against a lot of people who are less qualified compared to you, some that are the same, and some that are better. Rely on your essays as well, it’s going to give you a chance to separate yourself from the rest. Don’t get discouraged, anything can happen. Colleges will love that you challenged yourself with a rigorous schedule. Have you thought about taking any SAT Subject tests? Maybe in Chem or something to show that you do know the work really good. Just a thought. You will probably be fine, don’t stress! No one is perfect. Best of luck
