i heard this D & S marketing series has some of the best AP books around but when i looked on the website and tried to order one I discovered that it's for teachers and you have to buy at least five to ten books at a time. anyone know if there's a way to purchase one of these books without having to be a teacher or w/out having to buy at least five of them.........also, anyone ever had experience w/these books?

my calculus teacher (calc ab) ordered the calc set this year and we used 'em about a month prior to the exam. i found that the practice questions by them were EXTREMELY accurate. i got a 5 on the exam, but i don't think i would've gotten a 5 without having had used their product.

actually, now that i've come to think about it, the D & S marketing prep book for calc was by far the most useful prep book out of all that i've been exposed to (better than kap's, arco's, princeton review's, barron's).

the practice questions they provided were tough -- especially the mc questions. but oh man, the frq questions seemed to have predicted exactly what this year's frq questions were. of the five or so exams they presented (by d & s marketing), they all had that questions similar to the "pipe" one in this year's ab exam. we were all surprised by the dissimilarity in question type that we saw between this year's exam and the exams of past years', but you wouldn't have been after going through those books by d & s.

in my opinion, getting those books are well worth it. they're at the least perfectly accurate with their calc ab books, but i haven't used their products for any other exam. think wisely=]

bump anyone else?

Bumppppp!!!!
