Dear Admitted Class of '10:

Hello, my name is Michael Juel-Larsen, and I'm a reporter with the Daily Princetonian. The 'Prince' is running a story tomorrow about the process regularly admitted students went through and what schools they're now deciding between. If you're interested in speaking with me, please e-mail me at mjuel@princeton.edu and let me know. I'd prefer to speak via phone as soon as possible. Please let me know, and thanks in advance for your time.

Yours cordially,
Michael '09

Hey Michael

I can definitely do this...

I'll also be in the chat...

I'm e-mailing you now

Admitted student chat???

Awwwww... no love for ED'ers :(

Michael, can you tell me what it takes to be on the staff of the Prince and what time commitments there are? Is reporting competitive, or is it simply assigned? I've noticed in the past that the senior writers usually get the best leads, etc.

I also thought it was interesting that you're using this particular username (Princereporter), since the last person who used that name on CC -- on the old forum -- was in fact Chanakya Sethi. :)

I agree w/ you, kjdoodles!

CHAN!!! Haha. He's my EIC. Hilarious guy. I'm a copy editor, and I literally just e-mailed the executive copy editor asking to join the copy staff, and it happened. Crazy bunch of people. Four hours on one night out of the week. Intense.

Oh, wow, then I'd simply have to do it. :D

Phil.....

Convince them to do a follow-up admissions article centered on CC stuff.
Maybe Sean would do the cartoon for it:)

Sean's art is incredible. I wish he and I worked on the same day so I could actually tell him that, haha. I expect they'll be doing a follow-up in May after the matriculation fever has died down.
