I like both. I agree that The Daily Show isn't as funny as it used to be a few years ago, but it is still pretty good. I like 'this week in god' and the correspondent parts a lot. Colbert Report is good, I think it's amusing how his fans seem to idolize him, hence the insane applause at the beginning of each show.

Colbert.

BEARSSSSS! :O!

And I'm not going to lie, I loved the Cookie Monster segment. :P I don't care if it had nothing to do with politics; it was still hilarious.

I just hate how john stewart is a knee jerk liberal. If he was more open minded, or took a different approach, the show would be a lot better.

Colbert (in real life) is far more of a liberal than Stewart. Stewart leans more towards moderate, and really does make fun of everyone.

UnleashedFury, that's scarily similar to how I feel!

I think the Daily Show is sort of past its prime. I love Jon Stewart (perhaps too much) but I think the only funny correspondents these days are John Oliver (whom I also love) and Assif Mandvi. Some of his occassional correspondents are hilarious, too, like Demetri Martin, John Hodgman, and sometimes Larry Wilmore.

But compare the correspondents now to the days of Even Stephven... ah, the good old days.

Anyway. I'll just say this: I am the proud owner of a "Colbert Nation" car window decal. :)

I hate both shows with a fiery passion.
