Yale has said both tbh. Originally the consensus was that it was indicative of acceptance but now it’s more murky. I’ve never seen this in past years so it’s tricky
For those applying for Dartmouth financial aid, does everyone have the blank Federal Verification Form populated on their checklist, or do only some applicants have it on their list? I have it.
I just have the CSS and nothing else. It seems like most people have some others as well. Is this a good sign?
We have a financial aid checklist with several items similar to the one posted above by David_D. It includes the blank Federal Verification Form.
Here’s a poll I created. Not very scientific but it’ll give an indication (hopefully)
But I think people are referring to house hold verification form. Are they different?
I don’t have that, but I have it in my Yale portal so I know what you’re talking about. In my Dartmouth portal it’s a form called Federal Verification Form.
Hope that people who doesn’t have the form will also reply. Otherwise it is biased.
yes
Does anyone else have both permanent and mailing addresses at the top of their portal? Even if they’re both the same?
Yes
Yes
only permanent address
I think the finaid email is the better indicator based on past threads both on cc and reddit
What is the speculation?
What email?
“Although the Admissions Committee is still deliberating, the Financial Aid Office is currently reviewing Class of 2027 documents. We want to ensure that when candidates are selected for admission, we will have sufficient information on file to make a financial aid decision”
Only permanent address.
Where and when did you get this info? Thanks.
Is it considered a bad sign if one didn’t get this email?
