Dartmouth/Duke/Georgetown

Hello,

I'm still a high school student but I'm aspiring to be a lawyer.

I've narrowed my choices to these 3 great schools and I don't know which one would have most to offer me, given that I would like to become a lawyer.

I will most probably major in International Relations and apply to Law Schools from there.

Please help your confused CC'er,

Thank you!

p.s. Georgetown- School of Foreign Services!

It doesn't matter at all. Choose the one you think you are likely to enjoy most.

As you said, Georgetown School of Foreign Service. It's one of the best in the country and given the fact that you're mainly interested in IR post-law-school I'd choose that one. And if you end up choosing not to go into law you have a great education in the field you've already shown great interest in.

I'm with Jonri. Choosing one of these schools over the others will likely have little impact on whether or where you will become a lawyer. Feel free to follow your heart, or follow the financial aid.

All three are excellent at getting alums into top law schools. Go where you want to attend.

Won't make a single difference

Go to Georgetown. As nick said, you'll have more backup options.

Thank you for all of your opinions!

But what do you mean by backup options?

I'm on board with jonri and greybeard. Go to the school that is the best fit for you. We're talking about four years of your life here.
