The 16th is my first day of winter break!!
I’m out the 18th, and I’ve finals all that week. One of my friends (not the one just accepted to Harvard) was accepted to Duke, and now I’m terrified. Please, Dartmouth! Admit me
The 16th is our first day of finals. I don’t know how I’m going to focus D:
I believe in you, @uncertaintea! I’ll post my decision here when I can (because I’ll be in a class and will have to ask permission to check), but I can only cross my fingers and hope that my essays carry me through.
Ugh!! The 16th? And here I was hoping that they’d release it on Monday…
Thankfully, all my finals are over on Tuesday so…yay
Thanks @SirPepsi Good luck with your finals, too!!
So why is Dartmouth taking the longest of the Ivys to send out the results?
It’s one of the smallest…
@jessmint10 I think it’s because the interim dean of admissions changed the process so that all applications go directly to the committees? Idkk
@uncertaintea Yes, that’s what I heard as well.
Ahh the guy that goes to dartmouth from my hs came back to visit today!!! I was walking out the door to go off for lunch when I saw him so I didn’t get to speak with him
wait okay y’all keep saying that the whole committee reviews us but where can I find that info? I think I tried searching about it and nothing ever came up
Has anyone received a likely letter from Dartmouth?
@tavernier23 it’s possible for us to receive likely letters before the decisions come out?
Not sure. My friend received one, but he is a committed athlete.
Likely letters are usually not sent to ED applicants.
Did anyone else get an email from the financial aid office that they need their CSS completed now for Dartmouth merit aid from the school today? Wondering if this is a good sign?
CSS is for financial aid, need based. Merit aid is something different, and when I read Dartmouth’s website they said they don’t give out merit based scholarships…
But CSS profile, if you applied for financial aid, was due 11/1.
WAIT nevermind they do give out scholarships and stuff
