"dartmouth of the south"

<p>gellino--you don't know how many Dartmouth students are taking graduate courses in the disciplines in which they are available. But for some students they are invaluable and may make the difference in whether they should go to that school or not.</p>

<p>My son at Illinois took a graduate level Latin class his freshman year. He had 7 years of Latin (starting in 7th grade and a summer of self-study, and including both AP courses) so was qualified to take the course in Augustine's writings. He also took CS classes that were upper level or graduate. These options would not have been available to him at other schools. This is what I mean by "depth of study."</p>
