Dartmouth over Harvard and Yale?

Dartmouth matches the other ivies.

i don’t know how much faith id put in the calculators. my (slightly) sub-100k family pays under 25k, room board and everything factored in. can anyone who is currently on fa at HYP attest to the fact that total out-of-pocket cost for a 100k family would truly be 5-10k?

Just in case anybody wanted to know, I chose Dartmouth!

Congrats Interficio! You will love it! A year from now you will probably wonder why this was a hard choice.

Congrats Interfericio!!! Welcome to Hanover, I hope that you have an amazing 4 years

Congratulations! And. don’t write off majoring in classics too quickly. It’s a wonderful department with some great teachers – and does not have the oversubscription problems that plague more popular majors. Talk about small class size! And, no reason a classics major cannot go to law school. One of my recent clerks was a classics major from Reed. Good luck – whatever road you choose.

Congratulations!

btw I’m in Latin, too! (our usernames  )

Welcome to the Dartmouth family!

Congrats on your choice. Dartmouth is one of my few favorite colleges, and I might have agreed that Yale would suit you too, but never Harvard–given what you have said about yourself. Save it for grad school :)
