Dartmouth--Spring or Winter?

Hello!

So I'm in need of some advice....
I have the opportunity to study at Dartmouth, as part of an exchange program, for either this winter or spring. I do not know what it is like in the East Coast, since I am coming from overseas. Would I have a better experience if I come study at Dartmouth during the winter quarter or spring quarter? When is the best time to really experience all Dartmouth has to offer and enjoy? I heard winters are tough, but some people say it's actually pretty fun to be in the snow, while others have said that springtime is way nice. Opinions?

Thanks...

well do you like the cold? If not, Spring is the obvious choice. I personally prefer Winter frankly because of the skiing. Dartmouth has its own mountain so I would say mountain. Just as a disclaimer, I do not even go to Dartmouth, but I have skiied at the ski hill many times since it is opened to the public.

Spring! Way more students are on campus than in winter, and you’ll get to experience Green Key, which is the most fun of the big weekends. Winter can be fun if you love outdoor winter sports and hockey games are a lot of fun, but Spring is just such a happier time.
