Dartmouth v Middlebury

Dartmouth v Middlebury.... please discuss

Give that "v" a 90-degree turn.

Dartmouth > Middlebury

:D

lol kristina

or, if you turned it 90 degrees the other way, Dartmouth < Middlebury

just saying...

oh, also, dartmouth has a better nordic ski team (barely...) ... the alpine teams are pretty comparable, midd might have an edge there.

I'm wondering the same thing. What are the pros/cons of Dartmouth compared to Midd? My interviewer for Midd gave me the idea that it's a better school (obviously) - but I want to see both sides of the spectrum. My dad's a Dartmouth alum, and they are my two top choice schools.

I heard Midd gets boring a lot faster, and that the weather is worse? I'm not sure how valid this is though.

Can anyone else provide more input?

I looked at Middlebury too, its a great school with a lovely campus. But there are only about 450 per class, which seemed like I'd get tired of everyone really really fast.. Dartmouth has about 1000 per class, so its bigger and less stifling.

Middlebury has 2,400 students, so it's more like 600 per class.

but does anyone know anything more about social life, academics, etc. They seem very similar only Midd is smaller and has no greek life.
