What do you guys think about Dartmouth as compared to NYU Stern. I'de like to major in business and Stern seems appealing in terms of its undergrad focus on business. I also hear that Stern is popular recruiting school for banks, investment companies, etc. On the other hand, Dartmouth seems to be a more prestigious school overall and one with better academics. The fact that it does not have a "Business" major and is in the middle of nowhere seem to detract from its appeal though. In other words, I have a day to decide where to go and am really torn between the two schools. Any advice would be really appreciated.

i think it comes down to whether you'd rather be in a traditional school environment (campus, etc) or the vastly different environment of a city school...

other things to consider- you will have better internship opportunities at stern, the liberal arts education will be better at dartmouth

If you're truly interested in business, I'd strongly recommend going to Stern. You'd get great internship opportunities during school, and great job opportunities afterwards. Also, getting an MBA is much less of a necessity for a career in business with a BS from Stern.
