I've posted this before, but I could use more opinions.
Where should I go between Dartmouth, Duke, and Rice?
I'm leaning toward Duke, but my parents are leaning toward Rice.
Any advice is helpful.

i'll say darthmouth to make things interestin.

IMO Dartmouth and Duke are grossly overrated, go to Rice.

Dartmouth unless you want D1 sports then DUke

How are Dartmouth and Duke overrated? They are some of the best feeders with the highest reputations in the county. If you want to live in Texas, Rice, everywhere else Dartmouth or Duke. In my eyes, you'll get the best overall experience at Dartmouth.

I would go to Dartmouth and Rice over Duke.

Slipper, the poster could only be a Texn. Rice isn't well known in much of the Country. Dartmouth or Duke, depending on major.

Dartmouth and Duke are so similar in a number of ways. Both academically excellent and similarly competetive in terms of admission. Differences in climate and location though - like snow? or like sweating?

The Dartmouth edge against Duke (I was accepted at both) for me personally was Dartmouth's LACyness (small classes, lots of grants, tea at 4pm, VERY open and friendly student body, administration friendliness), the beauty of the nearby outdoors (skating on the pond, jumping in the river, sledding down the golf course), the D-plan (sophmore summer, multiple study abroads), and the campus (smaller, easier to get around, better local town).

Duke has its benefits too, these were just very important in my decision making.
