Dartmouth College and University of Texas at Austin. Polar opposites right? What do you think? I am wondering if there are any similarities between the too universities (other than a good quality of academics).

Well, Dartmouth has a much higher academic reputation… it is an Ivy. However, majors and fields of study also play a big role in determining the academic prowess. Also, WEATHER is a huge factor… texas with warm weather all year vs a winter that last 8 months. Personally, I prefer Dartmouth because of the smaller class sizes, reputation, campus, etc. But making a college decision is a huge deal. Consider visiting the schools and getting a feel for the atmosphere first.
