Dartmouth's economics program??

I'm planning on majoring in economics, then becoming an actuary. Would Dartmouth be the right choice for me? I love everything about the school! Thanks

Economics is one of the most popular majors at the school? Why is it that you feel that Dartmouth is the right choice for you?

I love the atmosphere and the people… and the setting!!! I just went and visited and everyone there was so nice, and the campus was top notch… and the girls were pretty cute haha

dartmouth has one of the best undergraduate economics degree in the nation and the best undergraduate teaching. it’ll let you do whatever you want to do and put you in touch with a great alumni network.

When I took AP Econ, our teacher made us read “Naked Economics” for summer reading. ([Naked Economics: Undressing the Dismal Science: Charles Wheelan: 9780393049824: Amazon.com: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Naked-Economics-Undressing-Dismal-Science/dp/0393049825))

The author of that book, Charles Wheelan, went to Dartmouth and his currently a visiting professor there teaching classes in Economics (of course) and Public Policy.

That should be enough, lol.

Also, Economics is currently the most popular major at Dartmouth, I believe.
