my girlfriend just broke up with me. I feel really depressed now.

That sucks. Sorry. Any reason in particular?

She likes someone else. She said she just wanted to be friends with me. I don't know how long that was going on for.

That would be terrible to find out. Hopefully that wasn't going on for too long. Being friends is also pretty bad.

Yeah I know. For all I know, it could have been going on for months. It didn't seem like it. I don't know what to do now.

That happened to me once. It was awful- the only thing to do is move on.

I guess so. But I feel really disappointed. She was my first and only girlfriend. I will miss her.

I can imagine. First loves are intense. It's really disappointing when they end.

yeah. I will eventually get over it, but it will take time.

I know. It took me ages to get over my first, although he made it very easy by being such a big jerk.

That must have sucked a lot. I never did anything wrong to her. I never acted like a jerk and neither did she. But, the guy she dumped me for looks horrible. I don't know why she chose him over me. His whole face is full of acne. He is pretty large also. And, he is not very well liked by people.

Yeah it did.

That's really weird. Sometimes people have strange feelings or like strange people. Doesn't really make sense.

I know. And the funny thing is that while we were dating, she used to make fun of him. She didn't like him all that much, and she dumps me for him a few weeks later.

Okay that's really really strange, like messed up. But weird things happen- people change. I guess...

I know it is. I guess I am kind of over it now. I'm starting to feel a little better now.

Wow. I'm sorry to hear about that. Hope things get better.

My boyfriend and my first date was to an art show, chances are that wouldn't really work with an atheltic type guy though, haha.

I'd say find some common interest you have with him and then do something with that.

thanks kchen. It will soon get better. Hopefully I find someone else.

So after I'm done with all this application stuff, I'm going to ask Carson to hang out. Which will be by the end of this month or early Feb. I should bring at least my bff and I'm going to ask him to bring some friend(s) so that there won't be any awkward moments and stuff. I like hanging out in small groups.. We were talking about it, and my other friend wants to come too.

We haven't decided on a specific date yet, but I'm wondering about something... and let me know if I'm being irrational here.

Pro side of letting her hang out with us on that day:
She's my cool pal and all, and she hangs out with my bff a lot, so sometimes the two of them MAY (I haven't hung out with them out somewhere yet, so I can't say how she'll act) go off somewhere, which would leave me with Carson. Yay.

Con side:
She's a loud person, so she MAY do all the talking that I'm supposed to do with Carson. Not good..

What do you think?

just ask him out. Don't worry about it. It is hard for a guy to say no. Trust me. If he likes talking and hanging out with you, he will say yes. This is a question to all the guys. Isn't it hard to say no to a girl? It is for me. I don't know about other guys.
