Date of a course taken and the date of Articulation Agreement becomes effective?

Hi,
If a course is listed on the Articulation Agreement for 2011-2012, does that means the course would satisfy the university's reqs. only if it is taken in that year? Or that any courses taken prior to 2011 can be also used to satisfy the reqs.?

Thank for your help.

After you select your CC on the assist.org page, click the IGETC for UC and CSU link. After selecting the department, you can figure out how long a class has been articulated by using the chart for IGETC classes. For major requirements, you could have taken the class during a previous semester as long as it was already articulated. They post the 11-12 Guidelines because those are the up to date requirements they have for this coming application season.

99% of the time, the course has probably been articulated for a while. Every once in a while, a class will receive/lose articulation or the name will change. In this case, it would appear there.
