Daughter's birthday is during o-week. Any advice?

You said she is in mcmurtry. I am in mcmurtry.
And the two freshman in my group are girls. It would be awesome she was in my group! (and very coincidental haha). Im sure she’ll appreciate anything though!

I’m advising at McMurtry and we are DEFINITELY supportive of you sending a cake! We will be sure to celebrate with her as well because we know it can be hard having a birthday away from home.

O-Week will be wonderful and I hope your daughter is super-excited!

Austinhills – coincidentally, I received an e-mail this morning with a certificate for $20 of value from Dessert Gallery for $10. The certificate must be purchased this week but is good through December 2010. If you sign up at My Table Entree Houston Entree[/url”>http://www.mytableentree.com/]Entree you can access this certificate. It’s a site like Groupon but for restaurants in Houston.

And if you’re around town when you drop her off for O-Week you can stop by Dessert Gallery at Kirby and Richmond to check out what they have – there’s a cafe there and they also sell cakes by the slice.

Edit: I see now that this coupon is good only at the Galleria location on Post Oak (but still a good deal).

yeah, thats only like an extra mile /mile and a half away. still worth it!

Hey thanks, everyone! I will look into those places on Monday and try to get it organized. Things are a bit hectic now as we try to get on the road.

Taking youngest kid to college = bittersweet + life-altering + emotional + wouldn’t change anything
