I visited Tufts during my spring break this year (yeah i know...along with about 80 bazillion other juniors...), and really liked the school. what REALLY got me was the admissions guy, Davin Bergquist--he gave the presentation. He was amazing! Is he always like that or kind of like the typical administration that isn't seen too much? He really had my attention and respect.

He gave the speech when I visited this past summer too. I know pretty incredible right? Hands down the best speaker/presentation out of all the dozen or so colleges I visited. Tufts was the last school I visited on a whirlwind college tour and I was so tired I don't think I would of heard a thing if he hadn't been so good.

is that the guy that kept using the phrase 'bring to the table?'

he was a good speaker, i think he spoke last spring when i visited campus

i had a really great tufts presentation at my school from the international admissions director, it really won me over because tufts actually uses examples about their teaching methods

he came to my school and is the main reason i wanted to go to tufts. I also frequently emailed with him until i got off the waitlist. Hes a great guy.

Yeah, he definetly was a great speaker. I spoke with him about their engineering program(he teaches) and he seemed very enthusiastic about the classes and program so that is one of the reasons why I enrolled.

he teaches too? that's amazing! (he's the one who said "oh SNAP, dunn you be talking about COLLEGE--we're SIX for god's sake! i'm going to go home and OD on pudding and PASS OUT on the couch...then watch barney cos he rox...and we're SIX)

i liked how even though he was clearly swamped with parents and other kids, he still looked right at me, in the eyes, greeted me and gave me his card, as well as a number to contact the Museum of Fine Arts directly, without my even asking! I commented how much I liked that about Tufts with the art, because I love art, and he just wrote it!

hey, AndrewGNelson
what did he tell you about the engineering programs? And what program does he teach?

isn't it that they have a 0% drop out rate or something?
