Davis Bound Transfers!

For all of those going to davis next fall.... where are you planning to live? I went apartment searching today and a lot of one bedrooms/studios are taken. I think im goin to have to find some random people to live with.... Does anyone know of any good housing resources/tips on movin to davis?

THANKS!

tncpaul, but you haven't even heard back from cal/la yet! anyways, I use to live in Davis, finding random ppl to live with on craigs list works great.

I might attend Davis as well.

I'll be going to Davis. I'm still hoping I can get into the transfer halls to live, but if I don't Davis has a site that people list openings for apartments, and roommate searches and the like.. This is the site: http://chl.ucdavis.edu/
Anyone else trying for the residence halls?

Pauld-I think it is too early to begin searching in earnest. Late May, June or July would be better.

Actually, Davis recommends that the best time to sign onto a place to stay is April or May because spots fill up really quickly, and by the summer very few good places are left. The majority of apartment managers already know how many openings they have and are very willing to have you sign on right now.

I said Late May...; you said "April or May," thus we agree. Many of the listings now are for summer rentals. 2006-2007 rental season has not begun in earnest.

Good to know (:
