Dawg Daze Inquiry

I am an incoming freshman this Fall, and I am looking for the late night activities in the campus, particularly on 09/21 which is the late night carnival and 09/24 which is the Fred Meyer shopping night, but I am going to live off- campus and will live 10 miles away from UW Seattle. I have a friend who will be living on- campus, and my question is, is there any chance that I can stay the night in their residence halls? (for the two events I mentioned earlier, I find it scary and dangerous to travel alone 10 miles using public transit late at night) Or do I have to pay for the stay or they can just let me? (I am willing to pay whichever amount I have to pay for convenience and safety) Looking forward for an answer! Thank you so much!

P.S. My friend does not know the answer, either. That’s why I’m trying here.

Your friend can use his Husky Card to let you into the residence hall. If you bring a sleeping bag, you can crash in the dorm room. For 9/21, there’s a chance that the some people haven’t moved in yet, so you may even be able to sleep on a bed. I don’t think security will search rooms and kick you out.
