Hey guys,
So I know the deadline is February 1 but then I realized that it is based on rolling admission. Does this mean I have a lower chance of getting in since I just submitted my application on the 31st of Jan? Or will I just be notified really late? Also will I not have a chance at receiving any kind of merit scholarships?

Unfortunately, I think you do have a much lower chance. The reason I’m saying this is I have two friends who applied last year to Michigan OOS on the last days. One was the salutatorian and the other was 4th in the class. They both were waitlisted.
I applied last January 31st at 11:45 PM and I was accepted. I spoke with admissions before I did this and they told me that it makes no difference whatsoever. If you made the deadline, you made the deadline.
I wouldn’t worry about it.
