<p>I have be procrastinating as far as it comes to filling out all the necessary stuff for college next year. One of the more important things I've put off is filling out all the stuff with the federal government saying I agree to pay back the student loans, etc etc.</p>
<p>Anyone know if there is a specific deadline for this? Is it just assumed that I would have them filled out by the time I start in August?</p>
<p>Your loans will not be disbursed to your account until your promissory note (and entrance counseling) are complete. Some schools are well-equipped for electronic transfer of info, so it will just take a few days from the day you complete your requirements for your school to receive that info & link it to your loans. Other schools, however, may take longer. It is always best to ask your own school’s financial aid office about time lines.</p>
