<p>Ok, I'm using the common app and and the deadline for 3 of my colleges is JAN 1. I am an international applicant, so do i need to submit it before 11:59 my time zone or according to the US time zone?</p>

<p>It's the college's time zone.
But don't wait until the last second (who knows if your computer freezes or the server crashes or...) to submit your app.</p>
<p>If your time-zone's ahead of the US, it's probably safest to apply by midnight your time. That way, you don't risk your computer glitching at the crucial second.</p>
