<p>May 1 is the deadline for deciding where you're gonna go for college in most US colleges right? Is that a postmark deadline or an arrival deadline? I'm kind of worried for a friend because I think she's gonna come back pretty late from her trip to the college and because we don't live in the US, the package might arrive after May 1 if she sends it after she comes back</p>

<p>I asked and it's a postmark deadline. But I am international, and I am not sure if it applies also for domestic applicants..</p>
